My greatest passion in life is teaching. I am a strong believer in adapting teaching methods to accommodate each individual’s learning style. By using a variety of methods of teaching, each student will enjoy success in their journey towards mastering musical concepts and theories. My desire is to provide the tools for each student to make learning music educational, yet enjoyable. Students will learn to play an instrument efficiently while building confidence and perseverance, sharpening concentration, and their problem-solving skills.

Throughout my years of teaching, I have developed and honed strategies which simplify, yet challenge the learning process. These strategies are implemented to identify and target students who demonstrate specific areas of weakness and challenge their areas of competency. While music is a repetitive, complicated, and pattern-oriented system, my specialty lies in teaching those patterns and presenting them in a logical and consistent sequence. 

I fully recognize and undertake the crucial task of imparting musical knowledge into the minds of young children. By being cognizant of the responsibility that lies before me, I promise to always execute fairness and share my enthusiasm and concern for each one of my students. I put forth intense effort in providing a positive experience while teaching music and strongly believe that no matter the challenges, with hard work, all students are capable of learning.
